Ingredients
1 ½ ounces Harvest Spirits Hudson Valley Pear Brandy or other dry, eau-de-vie-style Poire William
1 ounce fresh lemon juice
¾ ounce spicy simple syrup (see recipe).
Preparation

Combine the ingredients with ice in a cocktail shaker, shake and strain into a Champagne flute, filling it roughly halfway. Top up slowly with a good-quality prosecco or a nonvintage brut Champagne. Garnish with two thin pear slices or a long, thin twist of lemon peel.

Had leftover masala syrup from an Indian-inspired drink, so this was a perfect way to use it up. Really delicious! Would definitely be a great winter holiday cocktail with spices like cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, and star anise. 5 stars from me.
