  • 1 bottle of prosecco, chilled

Preparation

  1. Step 1

    Cut peaches into quarters; discard pits. Hold each quarter over mouth of blender, peel off skin, and drop fruit into blender. Blend until very smooth. Measure out 1 cup of puree and chill.

  2. Step 2

    Pour prosecco into a large pitcher. Add chilled peach puree, and stir gently. Serve immediately, before mixture separates.

Very easy to do and quite delicious. Only potential drawback is that the level of sweetness could vary depending on ripeness of peaches. Adding simple syrup to taste will help.

Can I purée the peaches in advance and freeze? Will they turn brown when thawed?
