  • 20 plum tomatoes, chopped

  • 2 tablespoons salt

  • 1 tablespoon sugar

  • 1 stalk lemongrass, peeled and chopped

  • ½ cup vodka

  1. Step 1

    Combine all the ingredients and let marinate overnight. Purée in a blender, then let it strain through a jelly bag over a bowl. (This will take several hours.) Chill.
