Ingredients
Yield:1 drink
1½ ounces apple brandy
½ ounce sweet vermouth
½ ounce Bénédictine
½ ounce Cherry Heering
½ ounce lemon juice
Splash of ginger ale
orange wheel, for garnish
Preparation
- Step 1
Shake all liquid ingredients, except for the ginger ale, with ice. Strain into a Collins glass filled with ice. Top with a splash of ginger ale and garnish with half an orange wheel.

Leave the main ingredients as they are then it’s possible to cater the drink to a variety of tastes depending on if you chose to add the ginger ale, or swap it for ginger beer, or soda water, or simply keep it on ice. Overall, it’s a cold- holiday crowd pleaser.
