Ingredients

  • 1 pound cranberries

  • ⅓ teaspoon each of cinnamon, allspice and nutmeg (or) 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

  • ½ cup vinegar

  • 1 cup sugar

  • ½ teaspoon salt

Preparation

  1. Step 1

    Wash and clean the cranberries, place them in a pan with vinegar and cook over low heat until the berries pop and soften. Put through a sieve and return to the pan.

  2. Step 2

    Add spices, salt and sugar. Continue to cook over low heat until the spices are blended. Pour into hot sterilized jars and seal.
