Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
½ pound ground veal
½ pound ground pork
2 eggs
½ cup fine bread crumbs
¾ cup chopped parsley
½ teaspoon dried oregano
½ teaspoon dried basil
¼ cup chopped green pepper (optional)
1 ½ teaspoons salt
½ teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
3 or 4 strips bacon
Preparation
- Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Step 2
Place all the ingredients except the bacon in a bowl. Briefly blend well and form into a loaf. Place the loaf on a rack in a 10-inch baking pan and cover with the bacon slices.
- Step 3
Bake for 1 ½ hours until the meatloaf is firm and the bacon browned. Let the meatloaf rest for 10 to 15 minutes.

Well, I didn't make Veal, Pork And Chicken Granny's Meatloaf. I made Veal, Pork And Beef Granny's Meatloaf. For some reason the name of the recipe doesn't agree with the ingredients list. In any case, what I made tasted great. I made it exactly as the ingredients list and preparation directed.
