  • 3 or 4 small pickling (Kirby) cucumbers or 1 large

  • ½ cup plain yogurt

  • ½ teaspoon lemon juice

  • ¼ teaspoon minced chives

  • ¼ teaspoon dry mustard

  • ⅛ teaspoon paprika

  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

  • 1 small clove garlic, finely minced
