Ingredients

Yield:3 cups
  • ¾ cup distilled white vinegar

  • ½ cup beef or chicken stock

  • ½ cup finely chopped onion

  • ½ cup seeded minced jalapeno chilies

  • ½ cup yellow mustard or Dijon-style mustard

  • ¼ cup honey mustard or brown deli-style mustard

  • ¼ cup light corn syrup (or to taste)

  • 2 tablespoons molasses

  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper

    Combine all ingredients in saucepan, and bring to boil. Reduce heat, and simmer until thick and richly flavored, about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Taste for seasoning, adding additional salt or corn syrup as desired. This sauce goes great with just about anything.
