  • 2 cups plain lowfat yogurt

  • ¼ cup dark-brown sugar

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • ½ pint fresh raspberries

  • ½ pint fresh blueberries

  • ½ pint fresh blackberries

Preparation

  1. Step 1

    Stir the yogurt, then thoroughly mix in the brown sugar and vanilla.

  2. Step 2

    Transfer the ice-cream maker and freeze according to manufacturer's directions. The frozen yogurt can be served softly frozen directly from the ice-cream maker or can be transferred to a container, placed in the freezer and allowed to harden. But it should be removed from the freezer and allowed to temper about 15 minutes before serving.

  3. Step 3

    Rinse the berries and mix them together. Serve with the frozen yogurt.
