  • 12 hot green or red peppers

  • 3 large cloves garlic, peeled

  • ¼ cup olive oil

  • ⅛ teaspoon ground cumin

  • Tabasco or Louisiana hot sauce to taste, optional

Preparation

  1. Step 1

    Cut off stems of peppers. Cut away and discard veins and rest of stems. Chop peppers. There should be ½ cup.

  2. Step 2

    Add peppers, garlic, oil and cumin to container of an electric blender. Blend at high speed to fine liquid. Add Tabasco or Louisiana hot sauce to taste.
