Ingredients
Yield:4 to 6 servings
1 loaf of French bread
2 garlic cloves, peeled
2 tablespoons olive oil
Freshly ground pepper to taste
Preparation
- Step 1
Preheat broiler.
- Step 2
Rub the bread's crust all over with the garlic cloves. Cut the bread into ½-inch thick slices and sprinkle one side with the olive oil and pepper.
- Step 3
Place the bread slices on a baking sheet under the broiler until they are golden. Turn and broil on the other side until brown.
