Delicious! 2 dates instead of honey, half arugula half spinach, 1 tbsp ground flax seeds instead of chia.
Honey exhibits a broad-spectrum of antibacterial activity against various strains. Probably best to replace it with a different sweetener if you want the full benefits of the kefir.
I forgot to add honey and neither my partner or I missed it. I found it was sweet enough without it. Used unsweetened kefir as base. Added a handful of mint because I had some, and it worked well.
This was a great smoothie. I left out the honey bc I don’t think it’s unnecessary. A little bit of ginger would’ve been a great
This is great pretty much as is. I added a 1/2 teaspoon of maple syrup because I'm out of honey. I maybe could have even done without it, but this is a great smoothie all around and will be in my regular rotation.
I made this with two dates instead of honey as others suggested and it was so delicious! I’ll be more open to using kefir in my smoothies now too.
