Ingredients
1 cup dried cherries
4 cups boiling water
6 plain tea bags
2 teaspoons finely chopped ginger
1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
12 pitted cherries
Preparation
- Step 1
Place the dried cherries in a food processor and process until finely chopped. Transfer to a bowl and add the boiling water, tea bags and ginger. After 4 minutes, remove the tea bags. Let stand until cool. Strain through a fine sieve. Stir in vinegar and refrigerate until cold. Serve over ice, garnished with cherries.

If you are tickling the idea of Dry January, want to send a homemade gift or just want a nice change from iced black tea this is pretty darn good. Of course after reading the list of the few ingredients over and over I used four tea bags instead of six, but it takes yummy to me!
