  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled but left whole

Preparation

  1. Step 1

    Trim crusts from bread. Cut bread into ½-inch cubes or smaller. There should be about 1 cup.

  2. Step 2

    Heat oil in a skillet; when hot, add bread and garlic cloves. Cook, shaking skillet and stirring, until bread cubes are golden brown. Drain in a sieve. Discard garlic.
