Ingredients

  • 1 ½ ounces dry gin

  • 1 ½ ounces pure coconut water

  • ¾ ounce fresh lime juice

  • Dash pressed ginger juice

  • Large ice cubes

  • Fresh lime wedge for garnish

    Combine all ingredients with ice in a cocktail shaker and stir for 20 seconds. Strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with fresh lime wedge.

Tart, refreshing and not too sweet. I liked it with more coconut water. The ginger provided the perfect zing.

Cocktail was refreshing and good in concept but missing something. It lacked sweetness, and the ginger juice+lime combination had a moscow mule flavor, overpowering the coconut water. So I added 1/2 ounce of Falernum to add sweetness and a little bit of mystery to the drink to atleast address one issue.

This cocktail seemed very promising and turned out to be a considerable disappointment. Much to much lime, to the point where none of the other ingredients came through. Decreasing the ,lime would be a possibility, but doesn't seem worth the effort. I will not be making this again.
