  • 1 black radish, peeled and coarsely grated

  • 1 teaspoon sugar

  • ½ teaspoon coarse salt (or to taste)

  • 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • Hot red pepper flakes to taste
