I made this as veggie dip with a colorful tray of celery sticks, yellow tomatoes and purple cauliflower for a gaming (board games) party with adults. It was popular but quite rich and a little sweet to resort to over a period of hours. Children might enjoy it if they ever get past the ick-factor of the color.
