Ingredients
Yield:3 servings
1 large dried Oriental mushroom
1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
3 green onions
1 pound fresh fish fillets
1 tablespoon soy sauce
4 tablespoons dry sherry
¼ to ½ teaspoon sesame oil
Preparation
- Step 1
Soak mushroom in hot water for 15 minutes; drain and slice thin.
- Step 2
Mince ginger; slice green onions thin.
- Step 3
Wash and dry fish; place in single layer in shallow baking dish; sprinkle with soy, sherry, ginger, green onions and mushroom.
- Step 4
Place dish over simmering water; cover and steam 8 to 10 minutes or until fish tests done.
- Step 5
Drizzle with sesame oil and serve.

What the heck is an Oriental mushroom? There are so many kinds regularly used all over the Orient.
