  • 1 large dried Oriental mushroom

  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger

  • 3 green onions

  • 1 pound fresh fish fillets

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

  • 4 tablespoons dry sherry

  • ¼ to ½ teaspoon sesame oil

Preparation

  1. Step 1

    Soak mushroom in hot water for 15 minutes; drain and slice thin.

  2. Step 2

    Mince ginger; slice green onions thin.

  3. Step 3

    Wash and dry fish; place in single layer in shallow baking dish; sprinkle with soy, sherry, ginger, green onions and mushroom.

  4. Step 4

    Place dish over simmering water; cover and steam 8 to 10 minutes or until fish tests done.

  5. Step 5

    Drizzle with sesame oil and serve.
