Ingredients

  • 1 ½ ounces of gin

  • 1 ½ ounces of cherry brandy

  • Sour mix

  • Soda

  • Fresh lime juice

  • Maraschino cherry and orange slice

Preparation

  1. Step 1

    Fill a pint glass with ice. Add liquors. Fill nearly to brim with sour mix.

  2. Step 2

    Add two splashes of soda plus a dash of lime juice. Pour in a shaker, shake to chill. Return to glass and garnish.

I know there are many versions of this cocktail, but this recipe truly leaves a lot to be desired. Here's a better one IMHO: 1.5 oz gin 0.5 oz cherry heering .25 oz Cointreau .25 oz Benedictine 2 oz pineapple juice .5 oz lime juice .5 oz grenadine Dash bitters
